Sokolovsko: čtyři období, čtyři krajiny

Sokolov Region: Four Seasons, Four Landscapes

RNDr. Petr Rojík, Ph.D.

Zpravodaj Hnědé uhlí 2009, 49(3):3-12

The paper describes and evaluates the changes of the landscape near the town Sokolov in the consequence of mining for lignite in the last century. During the time, the landscape several times essentially changed the appearance: (1) Agricultural village Oberreichenau / Horní Rychnov, (2) opencast mine Silvestr, (3) spoil and waste dump, (4) golf course with the forest reclamation in the background.

Poznatky z lesnické rekultivace antropozemí výsypek Dolů Bílina vytvořených ze slínitých hornin

Findings from the forest reclamation of Anthroposols of spoil banks of Bílina Mines formed of marly rocks

Vratislav Ondráček, Ing. Petr Čermák, CSc.

Zpravodaj Hnědé uhlí 2009, 49(3):13-18

For the reclamation of the Radovesice spoil bank surface in the North Bohemian Brown Coal Basin marly rocks that were extracted in the foreland of the buried territory, loess loams and to a smaller extent the overburdens of humus horizons (topsoil) have been used the most frequently. As a result of these reclamations overlaid Anthroposols are created the most frequently when spoil bank soils are mixed with marly rocks by ploughing or when they are overlaid with marly rocks and loess loams, as well as humus- enriched Anthroposols when they are overlaid with marly rocks and topsoil. The present paper evaluates the soil properties of Antroposols created...

Nové poznatky o mineralogii povrchového dolu ČSA

New information about Mineralogy of ČSA Opencast Mine

RNDr. Michal Řehoř, Ph.D., Jiří Řehoř, Ing. Petr Šulcek

Zpravodaj Hnědé uhlí 2009, 49(3):19-22

The article briefly evaluates the history, geology and mineralogical situation of the Československé armády opencast mine. The main attention is devoted to two new mineralogical findings in the years 2008 and 2009. The first sample of barite in the area was found during profiling the core in 2008. The article describes the mineral characteristics and the use of analytic method. The new locality of marcasite was discovered during the survey of the coal cuts in 2009. The article describes the deposit and briefly evaluates the found samples. The interested persons will be able to see them at the XVI. mineral exhibition and mining history in the castle...

Geological Aspects Impacting the Solution of Deposits for Underground Coal Gasification

Ing. Monika Blišťanová, Ph.D., Ing. Anton Grinč, Ph.D., doc. Ing. Peter Blišťan, Ph.D.

Zpravodaj Hnědé uhlí 2009, 49(3):23-26

The underground gasification of coal is one of the clean coal technologies, which are applicable to the economic valuation of deposits that are unexploitable by traditional methods for economic or technological reasons. Underground coal gasification produces gas which is suitable for electric power generation, petrochemical products and for liquefaction. The main factors that define the quality of the gas obtained by underground gasification are the geological structure of the deposit and the qualitative parameters of the coal. At the detailed appraisal of the suitability of deposits for underground coal gasification the following factors should be...

Energetický obsah spalitelného uhlíku odpadních látek a tvorba směsných paliv

Energy Content of Combustible Carbon in Wastes and Production of Mixed Fuels

RNDr. Ing. Josef Valeš, Jaroslav Kusý, Ing. Lukáš Anděl

Zpravodaj Hnědé uhlí 2009, 49(3):27-32

The efforts to use energy content of combustible carbon contained in wastes in a significant amount which simultaneously show favourable content of pollutants lead to the conceivable production of so called mixed fuels. They are artificially prepared fuel mixtures of two to multi fuel components. A selection of potential fuel components was carried out including the definition of quality parameters and contents of polluting trace elements, designed and verified recipes of mixed fuels including combustion test on a small heat appliance. The selected fuel mixtures meet the legal requirements set on solid fuels usable for small and medium sources from...

Likvidace hlavního důlního díla - těžní jáma Kateřina v Modlanech - použitím nezpevněné základny

Liquidation of the Main Working - Kateřina Pit in Modlany Using Incoherent Back Fill

Ing. Jiří Varady, Ing. Daniel Prečuch

Zpravodaj Hnědé uhlí 2009, 49(3):33-36

The article deals with the reasons and manner of the main working - Kateřina pit (Stará) liquidation in Modlany. The way of old workings liquidation are set by the mining legislation, specified and known in quite a detail. The article describes the manner of vertical main working liquidation and the reasons for using this type of liquidation with incoherent back fill. These were mainly flooding the pit into almost a half depth with mining waters, impossibility to use common cement-fly ash mixtures but also using this liquidation method in similar cases without the occurrence of outstanding events, maximum reachable level of safety in the liquidated...

Fragmenty z komplexního měření na lomovém velkostroji typu KU800

Fragments of Complex Measurement on KU800 Excavator

Ing. Vlastimil Moni, Ing. Petr Klouda, Ing. Bohumír Kubík, Ph.D.

Zpravodaj Hnědé uhlí 2009, 49(3):37-41

The paper briefly describes a methodology of solving, results, and procedure of a complex measurement carried out on a mining excavator. The measurements were carried out under in situ conditions. The measurement is a part of a grant project No. 105/07/1031 under the title "Research, by means of new methodologies, into the influence of the shape and geometry of the edge of a cutting member of bucket wheel excavators on the energy consumption and life span."

Současný stav problematiky využívání produktů po spalování

Current State of Using Combustion Products

Ing. Schmidt Pavel, Ing. Šašek Petr, Ph.D.

Zpravodaj Hnědé uhlí 2009, 49(3):42-46

With growing energy consumption generated, to great extent, by fossil fuels combustion, the issue of using combustion products also grows. This issue has been tackled since 1950-ies and new ways how to use these products have been searched for. Mainly ash (bed-type, fluid), a desulphurization product (energy-gypsum), cinder and slag are classified as combustion products.
